TonyNannini, I am exactly in the same place as you are. To me, the dodecahedron appears pretty small for fitting in the thematic items.

I've been toying with a 3 letter word related to the drink, but can't see a link to the theme or how there could be 9 hidden words linked to it ?

The comment by logophile at 7 is causing me a lot of concern, because I cannot see a choice between words alike.

After scrutinising row 7, I now understand the comment at 7. Hence I have 9 thematic items, but not a scooby-doo of how they relate to the dictionary definition, as have still not sussed that bit out.

…………..unless it is something that is smoked. Can anyone confirm that, because my definition complies with the dictionary definition, but is not that which is in my dictionary.

Gitti, Just think of their substance, a 4 letter word that can be placed at the end of a highlighted word.

I have 1ac, 2ac and 7 dn, which seem to be fitting together. I also have 9ac, still disconnected from my others. I think I can see African animals in 8dn, but can't see the other part.

5dn or 12dn could be a useful prompt, please.
