ChrisE, it sounded a pretty dramatic incident - and Danny said he could 'hear the suits' knees knocking' - and I've decided to take it at face value. People say what they mean, and mean what they say …. don't they?

I read that the bus was stationery and he crawled out from under it. That cant be right - surely it was stationary?

Jigjag

Sorry I cant join you and Malone. I am giving a talk on "Future Pies " in the Village Hall. Good luck and looking forward to the report.

Grunger, thanks for letting us know that you are unable to join us tomorrow. I'm beginning to worry about non-attendances - I've had communications from both Ivor Pryor-Engagement and Elsa Whaire, saying that they too can't make it. I hope your pie talk goes well - if you take along some free samples, you'll have the audience eating out of your hand (literally).
PS I liked the stationery bus.

ChrisE, the old ones aren't always the best....

Hi Malone, I'm also concerned about non-attendances, however, following that dinner at my fiend's house, I feel I'm more than qualified to talk "Tripe" - should the need arise.

Chris, love it :-)

Thanks, Brendan - you have your own, personal fiend? I don't like to ask what role he or she has in your life.

PS I'm sure your talking tripe was a one-off occurrence, one that taught you a valuable lesson - ie steer clear of tripe.

Brendan, if there isn't, there should be!

PS I couldn't resist mentioning it, it was just too tempting.

All PU Members and Interested Parties

Not only did the BBC cancel last night's screening of HIGNFY, but they also pulled the plug on the filming of ' A Tale Of 22 Cities'. This was the much-anticipated show from Jigjag and myself, a light-hearted look at our travels around the globe. I have no idea whether this was a political decision or not, but I am currently exploring other avenues. Any further news or information will appear here. Thanks.

To Whom It May Concern...

I have cashed in all my Nectar points and am setting sail tomorrow. A life on the ocean wave beckons - well, a week on the ocean wave beckons. I have packed stockings for Christmas Island, eggs for Easter Island and a lettuce for Cos. Anything else I need can be bought along the way.

I hope there are a few niggles and moans to keep everyone's inner pedant satisfied.
