Thanks and I agree with Malone that it is nonsense. To me, the "double u double u eff" is the World Wrestling Federation. I have followed this sport for many years.

You get the same problem with ECB and LSE. Presenters keep rattling on without ever using the correct name for the organisation so you don't know if they are talking about (i) the official body for cricket or the European Central Bank, and (ii) the London School of Economics or the London Stock Exchange.

I must apologise. I did assume that was what happened but with a 1pm deadline for the story, I had to use "journalistic licence" to put my spin on it and get my copy in.

Of course if Tesco complain, I will take "full responsibility" for the "mistake". The Editor though, has assured me of his "full support". In other words, if Tesco threaten to sue, I will be the "fall guy" and the boss will "kick me down the stairs". In my defence, I will tell Tesco that they are getting lots of free publicity. That should satisfy them.
