And the geographical names are cited in the poem. Take heed of various warnings already given on this board about the "touching at a corner" : an ambiguity that evidently got past the editors.

There shouldn't need to be ambiguities in preambles - it indicates the failure of setters to make the puzzle complex enough 'within the puzzle'. Many people rejected the 'Hare puzzle' - the core reason is the same. If you're really smart, set a puzzle that is difficult, but without any need for confusion.
