Is there any reason for the adding of the "i" to jumbles? Ive read the work and cant see the connection?

Add i to jumbles and you get jumblies! I'm just stuck on 14a.

It's the "fine" that's flying (anag.) not the fish! ;-)

Dylan, I haven't seen your return, but may have missed it. I think probably now I can give the full letter counts : 4,4,2,3,2,1,5. The poem's title is indeed prefaced by 'The' and the other word has already been heralded on this board.

Highlighting of one geographical name coincides with the "appropriate outline", of the other, I think, by 2 cells.

The "two words touching at a corner" is deliberately ambiguous. The corner isn't the corner of the puzzle, but the corner of a cell. I think in most cases a bore is one wave, so I question that the outline is "appropriate."

But, to keep in context, I guess any rubbish is okay.

Found this one harder than average and still not quite there. 29a and 30d have beaten me. Also is 15 a treated word? I have a word with but can't get it back to an original solution.
