Sorry - just got to this thread late.
Marca- 27d is SA (old word for copper, reversed) then word for shoe starting with W missing ED ('extract - ED').
I'm stuck on lots ( i have hardly any of top half) despite all of the help kindly provided by everyone. This one is proving too taxing for me!

Which are you stuck on in the top half.... give a few and then we can help!

13a I found this one quite tough as I originally thought the sig word worked in a different way. I saw a hint on another forum. 'Set Back' is the sig word.

17a Greek teachers is the def. Cycle is the sig word.

6d an old term for doctor's assistant
