This was my first PD crossword, and whilst I agree some of the across clues were a bit bizarre, some were spectactularly good , like 11, 21, 32 and 35. Anyway, all done now thankfully.

What a lot of comments and questions this week ! I wish I had allowed myself to look earlier, but maybe that would have spoiled some of the fun / slog?

Anyway, just a small point, but I just don't get the wordplay in 4 down, even though I am sure I have the correct five letter answer and three letter entry. Could someone out there please explain it?? Cheers

Finally finished last week's I think after the penny finally dropped that right half worked differently to left half late on Friday. Only question I have left is 3D. I have 'eahea' which fits the wordplay perfectly but can't see how adding a d gets to decapitate? Must be missing something obvious, any help appreciated

Thanks

Thank you. I really must read the clues more carefully- I had it in my head it was a 6 for some reason. Adding 3 d's makes sense. Just happy I didn't have the whole top left corner wrong.

I want to also thank all of the forumites for their assistance. I did not ask a question but I received some useful hints. Thank you all very much.
