Jack - new to the Guardian, I think. I'm less keen when the solutions are not real words but let's see what happens.

got the clue to the instructions from 12a. quite easy after that. got 90% done.however stuck on the last few.

I've tried Mozilla and Chrome but the Guardian site is still giving me number 148. Any ideas?

last one 6a) take no part in guide to strip clubs.
the answer should be 6 letters long but reduces down to 4 letters according to instructions. so am left with ?o?t
