Help!!!

A really tough one this week. I've filled most of the top half, but very little of the bottom. I think we need to cold solve a pretty high percentage of the clues, to have a hope of working out the entry method for the 18 other clues.

I've also got 28d RATEL but I'm not sure if there is an extra word in the clue or not. I've got no idea how to change the misprints or how to enter the other words

Isn't 32dn EGAD (E-GAD)?

I've done it as ECO (green) D (god)? Either way I can't make egad or ecod fit with my across answers!! I'm not making much progress. I've got 30d as UHLAN if that's any help

Good point - I think it can be interpreted both ways - I'll go with your version. I think I have the final word from the extra word instructions - MISPRINTS - but I'm not sure about it.
