Ixion - given you've used my answer for 'R', albeit in the plural, I guess we have different answers (unless you're being nicely subtle) - my take is that the last 5 letters of the answer are simply a synonym for 'L' - assuming my 'L' is correct of course.

I noticed (hence the revised comment) that I had used the L inadvertently but didn't notice the bigger faux pas.

I've been puzzling over your last 2 posts for ages and just had the 'doh!' moment. So, thanks both.

RH side complete but upper LH side looking a bit sad. I could do with a hint for the other 15. I've got the seventh I bit I think but no idea what to do with it. Also, if it's not giving too much away does F go at 2dn?

No to the F question (sorry). Don't understand why you don't know what to do with the "seventh I" bit..... Do you mean the 10,5? Happy to give clues. Which would help most?

Simondx, ok, does F go at 1ac? If not bottom left will need to be erased. Yes, I meant the 10,5, misspelling one, I've got some letters in but don't know what I'm looking for. Please don't let it be Harry Potter!

The 10,5 begins with 'B' and the other 14 letters are an anagram of letters in the clue. The definition is 'work' and a very famous (musical) one at that - definitely not Harry Potter.

RH142, thank you. It jumped out at me as soon as you gave me the hint.

And now that I've done the anagram realised I was on the wrong track. I thought it was substitute the seventh letter of "I" for H somewhere. Oops.
