Helloi, Elle!
I do not know descaling?
The washing machine "may" be a balance problem?
Spread the washing around the drum.
Is Adblock not stopping the ads?
Do you have antivirus installed.
Like AVG or Avast?
You may have malware in the Hudl?
If you download Malwarebytes it is very effective.
All my young ones are going to the football tonight.
It is our local derby!
I shall watch it on my television set.
I have bought crisps and Irn-Bru for the occasion!

I don't think I'll bother watching "Landscape Artist" again. They were set a challenge of painting a house, and the winner..................................didn't!

Hi, Rusty!
I think you could well be right about the washing machine simply being off balance, because when I had rearranged the clothes, the machine spun fully and correctly - odd that that has never occurred before though?
However, I have used it since and all seems to be functioning well now.
Descaling is simply removing the hard deposit formed by chemicals in water - you will perhaps have had to do this for your kettle?
We have 'hard' water here in London, so we are particularly vulnerable to this problem.
I have now downloaded about EIGHT(!) pages of instructions on how to 'descale' the Tassimo coffee machine!
We have got some special tablets to use especially for this!
Now.........the Hudl......
Adblock worked fine until I did a recent update on the Hudl...since then I have been inundated with ads and gibberish!
I have uninstalled , reinstalled - you name it - I or daughter have done it!
I have just downloaded Malwarebytes as you suggested.
The Hudl assures me this has been successful........ but I can see no noticeable effect?
Grrrh!
I hope you enjoy the football match - and your crisps and Irn - Bru!

Sorry, Chris, but you have lost me here?
Why would a "landscape" artist be painting a house?
And what do you mean " the winner ..........didn't"?
Didn't ......what?
Please elucidate!

I didn't want to give too much away, in case you or rusty watched it later; however they were taken to a stately home (Rothschild's, I think) and, unusually, told which direction they had to select their subject - i.e. towards the house. Today's winner essentially left the house part of the picture blank.

I too don't associate "landscape" with painting houses!

Hello, Elle,
You have to "run" Malwarebytes after download.
Have you done that?
Do you have an antivirus programme installed?
Is your Adblock working?
Yes, if your washload is unbalanced it won't run properly.
I do not know what kind of water I have, but nobody up here descales anything.
Now, back to the football!

Hi, Rusty!
Probably not!
I have no idea at all what I am doing!
You know how useless I am!
Anyway.........how was the football?
Did your team win?

Hello, Elle!
Have you a school-age neighbour who could check/fix your Hudl?
They are great with these things.
Well, our team won, and the young ones are very pleased, but I am quite sad, because in beating our city neighbours (the grounds are 200 yards apart, the closest grounds in Britain, I think) we have consigned them to relegation. Shame. But that is what competition is all about.

Hi, Rusty!
No, no school age neighbours!
But I have two daughters, and a son- in- law, all with degrees in either Computer Science or Software engineering!
And not one of them can sort out this wretched Hudl!
Daughter was positive it was "cured" yesterday after all her ministrations - but we are back again to square one!
She has declared herself "beaten"!
Never mind.......I shall just have to suffer it - or use the desk top, which I do most of the time anyway.
I've been reading the osprey update.
It seems that Lassie flew off today and left the eggs exposed for about eleven minutes. Laddie, although there, did not take his turn sitting on them - I thought that was what usually happened?
Glad that your team was successful!

Good morning, Elle!
Great morning here.
A pity about your Hudl, but I think it is a problem which can be easily solved using the correct tools.
You have Adblock. Check to see if it is working.
If you have no antivirus protection, install one.
The free version of AVG is good.
Now you have installed Malwarebytes, click on it, and "run" it.
If all else fails, you can always do a "factory reset" which will restore Hudl to it's original condition.
Yes, Laddie should sit on the eggs.
Maybe he is a young bird and not up to speed on these things.
