Hi, Rusty!
I don't even know what "Catch up TV" is? I certainly don't have it!
I'm fed up with modern technology!!
A blizzard? Snow? Oh dear! and is the snow continuing to fall? how deep is it expected to lie?
It's pretty when it first falls, but so treacherous as it turns to ice.
Be careful when you go out tomorrow.
Yes, I looked in on Lassie - she looks thoroughly miserable......I can't say I blame her!
We have rain forecast here...it should start at 10 pm......but fortunately no snow.
If it snows here, I shall hibernate!
Now, time for a coffee - and I still have a crossword to do.....

Rusty,
Our posts crossed!
I've just seen your message about Hamish McD.
I checked it out on the blog but they don't explain what happened?
That poor owner - now she has lost both ducks.....

Hello, Elle!
I think I have catch up TV.
It is a system that allows you to watch last weeks programmes.
I think the TV has to be linked to WiFi.
My son set mine up, but I have not used it.
It will be complicated, I imagine.
Our snow has stopped but there is a coating on the ground.
A pity about Hamish. I suspected this would happen.
There was a bit on BBC News Scotland Tayside website today about Lassie chasing away intruders from her nest.
Just wondering if they will have a report on Hamish?

Good morning, Elle!
A bit snowy here!
Anyway, I cannot do links anymore.
My brain has forgotten how!
So, type Hamish McDuck into Google search box and click on top story, by Dundee Courier.
It is a very sad tale.

Good morning, Rusty!
A lovely, sunny, but very cold, day here!
No snow though!
Are you having falling snow, or just yesterday's "remains" lying on the ground?
Have you been out yet for your paper?
I hope it isn't slippy underfoot?
I found the reference to Hamish McD in the Dundee Courier.
How very sad.
I wonder why it wasn't possible for someone - perhaps not the owner because of disturbance to the ospreys, but maybe a member of the Reserve staff - to have "rescued" Hamish from the site earlier?
After all, a life was at stake here?
I feel so sorry for the owner of both ducks.
(Aunt Rhody would be devastated).
Going to look at the crossword now.....I'm drinking coffee, and eating an apple and a piece of cheddar cheese!

Hello, Eirlys!
Thank you so much for finding the link for me to watch my "missed "programme.
That is most kind of you. It is much appreciated!

Hello, Elle!
No fresh snow, just the overnight stuff and though cold here, I think it should melt during the day.
Pavements are fine.
Will be chilly for the riders in Yorkshire!
My granddaughter has invited me out for coffee tomorrow.
I will miss the last part of the women's race!
Hope Lizzie can manage without me shouting encouragement.
Great shame for Morag and Hamish!
It is a criminal offence, in Scotland at any rate, to disturb the ospreys. It is a nature reserve. That appears to be the stance of the Loch o' the Lowes folk.
Hence, no effort made to rescue Hamish.
Aunt Rhody will not be happy at all!
We have another missing bird in the city.
Parakeet Pete, who has survived the winter and all efforts to catch him!
