Hello, Elle!
I like golf and I was useless at it!
You can not beat a penny book for value!
Amazon is great.
I have been re-watching BGT.
i have decided on my favourite act....so far!
I think this was hilarious, probably for all the wrong reasons.
It had me in kinks!
Type
Vitaly bgt
into Google and select the first one.
This is why I love BGT!

Good morning, Rusty!
A glorious morning...not a cloud in the (very) blue sky! and the sunshine has warmth to it already! We are indeed being very fortunate.
I have just looked at the BGT clip........yes, it was very amusing! I had to chuckle!
The look of incredulity on David Walliams' face, and the look of disgust on Simon's, were so funny!
But surely no one could be so stupid as that performer appeared to be?
On reflection, do you not think it was a 'put-up' job to provide hilarity?
I have my doubts sometimes as to the genuineness (is there such a word?) of some of these acts?
A good laugh, though!
I see on the blog that Lassie has laid a third Egg!!! I couldn't catch a glimpse of the eggs, though, as she is covering them so well.
Have you already been out for your paper? I hope you are having as nice a day as it here?

Good morning, Elle!
Fine crisp morning here.
I did not know about the egg.
I am just home from shop and going out in a few minutes.
I thought Vitaly was great!
Very funny, whether intentional or not.
(And everyone in the theatre loved him except Cowell, and that suits me!)
I do not know what you mean about genuineness?
Obviously the magicians etc are not genuine.
All trickery.
It's well presented acts.
There are acts from around the world trying out for the show, as they think it is the best one to be on.
I do not watch much TV but I like BGT...a lot!

Hi everyone,

Great news about egg No 3, but again during the night ! I have the sound on all the time to be alerted whenever something serious happens, but obviously not at night!

The family should be complete now? On the blog sometime ago Charlotte said that the laying of 4 eggs was exceptional -

Beautiful day here too, and sun warm; slight Northerly breeze though so only 13C overall, but more protected from the wind.

Hi, Rusty!
Our beautiful day is sadly fast disappearing in grey cloud and the possibility of rain is now hovering.....fingers crossed it doesn't happen.....
All I meant by querying "genuineness" on BGT is that I wonder if sometimes there are acts "set up" between the apparent performer and the producers just to cause merriment on the show?
(I wasn't referring to magicians or such like - those I would consider "genuine" even though trickery is naturally a part of the act).
Maybe ignore me.... perhaps I am just being too sceptical?
It looks very blustery on the webcam - Lassie's nest is rocking in the wind......which is blowing very noisily......
Right.... now I shall go onto Amazon and order some books.......

Hello, Elle!
The Jules/Matisse act was a set up.
Everyone backstage must have known about the replacement dog. Not sure about the panel.
You may be right on other set ups, too!
I just liked Vitaly! Seemed like a very nice lad!
He won't win, of course, but he made us chuckle, and that will do me! Anyone who annoys Simon Cowell is OK with me!
It is very windy here, so I imagine the nest will be blowing in the wind. I am not sure, but that nest may be an artificial one, built to encourage the ospreys to move in and breed?
Any word on BB's school?

Hello, Pigale!
Yes, three eggs should be the usual number.
It is very breezy here, and a beautiful afternoon.
Not very warm though!

Hi, Rusty!
Have you had a good day?
Mine has been disastrous!
I have been looking after my friend's (large) goldfish whilst she is in Australia looking after her sick brother.
The fish has only gone and died on me this morning!
I am feeling terrible about it, even though I did do my very best to look after him.
Oh dear!
I have just been reading up on ospreys' nests and, yes, you are right...the nest at Loch of Lowes IS an artificial one. It was built especially for breeding, at the top of a Scots pine tree.
No, no word about schools as yet.......fingers crossed for good news.....I will let you know when I hear......

Rusty,
I have had a phone call from my daughter.
All is well!
BB got into their first choice of school!
We are all relieved and delighted!

Hello, Elle!
Right, if she is in Australia you have enough time to find one to replace the dead one. Did you frighten it or anything?
Remember to feed it?
I would not dwell on it, Elle.
These things happen.
Pop into a pet shop and get one to replace it, and change the water.
Apparently at one time, ospreys were found all across Britain.
The breeding programme has been a great success and ospreys are now found South of the border, too.
Mostly, their nest sites are kept secret.
Excellent news regarding BB's school!
You can all relax now!
