Hi, Rusty!
I have my recorder set for "Casualty", which is on at exactly the same time as "Who Wants to be a Millionaire".
I always record a programme that I especially want to see, even if watching it at the same time, as almost inevitably someone will phone me in the middle!
So if I want to watch "Millionaire", I shall have to view it this evening at its scheduled time.
I shall give it a go, I think......
I always like trying to answer quiz questions!

Update, Rusty!
Well, I watched "Millionaire".......
I won't comment, as you will be watching it yourself sometime later.
Did you know that "BGT: The Champions" starts next Saturday?
It is definitely time for a coffee....

Good morning, Elle!
Lovely morning here.
Quite warm!
I was out for a dander.
I watched Millionaire earlier.
I liked it.
It's on again tonight.
I have both both BGT and Millionaire set to record next Saturday.

Good morning, Rusty!
It is very hot here....
We can expect a maximum of 33C by mid afternoon, but it was already 28C when we were out walking at 8 am.
I am undecided about "Millionaire"......the first two players did not do well, Jeremy was somewhat disparaging, and I didn't think I liked his attitude.......?
But the third contestant got up to £64,000, having played wisely and well, and is still potentially going strong......
And I then thought the programme perked up a bit!
Yes, it continues tonight.
I shall watch and see how it goes, as it is relatively new to me.
Athletics later!!!!
I am looking forward to that!

Hello, Elle!
I feel the heat here, too!
Jeremy is an acquired taste.
I used not to like him until he ventured on to Millionaire and then he grew on me.
I thought the questions the first two entrants got were on the hard side.
I certainly had no idea where Anglesey was!
Ara is going along nicely and fingers crossed for him!
He seems a nice lad and I'll be willing him on to the Million!
There is a programme on Sky Arts tonight that I am recording.
It's about Johnny Cash, but Linda Ronstadt is in it, and I've always liked her.
Maybe she'll sing "Blue Bayou"!

Hi, Rusty!
The jury is still out regarding Jeremy...but I shall give him the benefit of the doubt, and see how things go over a few shows.
A friend of mine lives in Anglesey......he retired there.......so I do know where it is!
If I am to watch "Millionaire" tonight, I will need to set the recorder, as the programme time clashes with my talking to my cousin.
I might also record "Sanditon" - the unfinished novel by Jane Austen, which has been adapted to television and given a conclusion by someone called Andrew Davies.
( I'm afraid I don't know who he is? )
The programme about Johnny Cash sounds good.....and I like Linda Ronstadt.
She will be in her early -seventies now, won't she?
I know she suffers from Parkinson's Disease, and no longer sings.
But very probably there will be some recordings on the programme?
Yes, I like "Blue Bayou"!

Hello, Elle!
I don't know Andrew Davies, too, I'm afraid!
Sky Arts are having a Johnny Cash evening tonight.
The programme I am recording was recorded in Tennessee State Prison.
Hope it's good.
Johnny and Linda are known for their duet "I Never Will Marry", so that may be on it.
I think Linda is about 72 now.
No singing anymore, her voice going was the first symptom of her disease.
She has recorded some Mexican music with Paddy Moloney and the Chieftains.
Paddy seems to have worked with everybody, including Mick Jagger and Paul McCartney, and Emmylou!

Good afternoon, Rusty!
I am watching the British Championships.......
Providing that the competing athletes already have the necessary qualifying times, then the first two in each race automatically will be going to Doha, for the World Championships.
A discretionary third place on the team will be awarded by the selectors.
If an athlete that is placed in the first two, does not have the necessary standard time, then he / she has until September 1st to get it.
It is all very exciting!
Sarah MacDonald and Jemma Reekie have just come first and second in the 1500m, so they will definitely be going to Doha !
Laura Muir, who wasn't there today, will be the third competitor.
Right, back to it......

Hello, Elle!
Lovely weather! Hope it continues!
I was out for a walk but did not go far as it is a bit warm!
Glad to hear about Jemma Reekie!
She is very promising!
I watched a bit of La Vuelta, though it does not appeal to me as much as Il Giro or Le Tour.

Hi, Rusty!
It is much too hot for me...….
I prefer the temperature in the lower twenties, not 30+ !
Yes, the British Championships were great....we have a lot of promising talent.
And some headaches ahead for the selection committee!
I am looking forward to the World Championships in a few weeks.
I was reading earlier about La Vuelta.
It seems that first a team car crashed into a wall, and then another team was brought down by water from a broken hose!
Oh dear, not a very auspicious start to the Tour!
How long does it last?
