Can anyone parse my last one? I'm sure it's RERUN, but can't see more than the def. & RU=Rugby Union = sport; no doubt "boxing" in sense of surrounding. Clue is (with extra word removed):
"Sport-- national boxing drama on TV (repeat)"

gk, I got the same answer but can't parse it - any hints?

I only have 2 left:

22A (remove one of the 'o' words) Overdrawn one joining bank _I_R

and the final change to 11A - I can see what he's getting at but the whole answer escapes me.

Sport = RU
Drama = ER (TV series)
National = N
R ER U N

22a: first word in clue is superfluous.
The rest consists of 2 definitions (if you pron. the answer differently)

and for 11a correction: start with the 2 outside letters for part of the title of the work!

I don't have the crossword lvs but 22 looks like the word overdrawn should be removed and then you are left with a word which means one joining something together and another word for bank

11a: that's where I'd got to, gk. It's the ones in the middle I'm having trouble with, given that my 7D only seems to change to an 'a' or an 'e' where it crosses 11A, if it's to remain a real word.
