Any hints available for 35 down? I have -ar--. I prersume the last letter might be s if what supports the PC is what physically supports the PC. Is there possibly a letter clash with the a?
Merry Christmas to everybody.

I have "emure" for 34down. It seems to go with "demurer" and "mure" (24dn and 39dn) but I am clueless about the wordplay.

Merry Christmas all. One thing that really held me up in completing the second grid fill was trying to keep the clashes from the first fill. It's the clashes that occur in the second fill that give the word.
