No, I think it's the compositors - or whatever they're called nowadays. I think there should be extra points added for those who solved before the numeration was corrected. To add insult to ... The Times today has a (7,3) for a nine-light solution.

I think I'm done, but I can't see how 24ac works. I can see the "leading lady" bit, but not "defends short fitting". Can anyone explain?
