Down to my last four and at the tearing out of hair stage! Could I have some hints please for:-

76. Possible threat of creating alarming glow around 6th Dec. (6.7)

96, Average man takes 51 with a 52 (8) I've tried various combinations of the answers to those questions with no success.

Any help would be appreciated.

I am not doing this quiz but 76 is an anagram of alarming glow + the 6th letter of December...and the answer relates to the supposed impact of increased co2 levels
