You've got some letters wrong...

7d ?N?E?H?I?
15a ?E?I?A?O?T?I?H?

Hints to all these earlier in the thread

Thanks ixion for your help. 7d,14d (which I had wrong) and 19d now completed. 15a is still giving me a headache (first word ?E?) as the rest of it 'is about right' as far as I can see! Any help gratefully appreciated.

Little tip: 'it' not 'is'! The first word is a very common verb!

hi ixion et al,
Just a comment on this puzzle. appears to be soluble by getting the "downs" ,then work out theme by working out a few cross wordplays that fit the alternate letters provided by the downs, then check commonality of the rest. verify by confirming all word ladders.
very interesting indeed.

Just a very late reply to Raymond on the deliverability of the G.: I only go to that town every Wednesday when the sun shines, and ordering it regularly at nearly 3 pounds a time, I decided, was
a bit of a luxury! I like your story about "same weight"!
