I have been given hints for
33..and the princess, returning after six, gives loaf - where the damp was rising. (6) Clues given were 'loaf' and tv prog. 'Rising damp' and
84 Whip a Horse - What a beast (9) whip +a+horse
I cannot get to grips with either of these - can any one give less subtle clues please !!!

33 stay with rising damp, try Rigsby.
84 me too, know its whip+horse but cant get either.
42 showily-dressed men - any clue?
49 got an answer B....L, type of big cat, but don't see pet connection

paige. 75. think of two grammatical articles in the middle of another word for newspapers.
Now have 24,73,and 78. 55,82,86 remain elusive !
