Hi puzzled. I have b--- e-- for 25 and I think it is right but I am intrigued what t--- c-- is !!

h i everyone.th anks for your help but still stuck on no.20. have put in the three words but as someone else said it only makes 10 letters not 11.also having problems with no.70. have changed it twiceneed some more help please. brain not been working v.well this week, off sick.

Re 25 For confirmation that b---- e-- is correct , it is the name of Bill Sykes dog in Oliver Twist ( that is the dog connection).

Thank you winnie I was hoping the answer was a cat as I found a cat with a bulls eye mark on it under tabby cat & I have 51 dogs & 49 cats. Back to the drawing board & I thought I had finished, Best Wishes x

It could be something as simple as counting one name in the wrong half...I was in the same situation until i realised I'd been counting Garfield as a dog!

Thanks calliewag for that advice I will go through it again with a fine tooth comb & if necessary read all the clues again. Having got this far after so many hours spent on it I am determined to get it right, of course there is always the possibility I have some incorrect answers.

winnie I have found my mistake after several more hours of frustration. So now have 50 cats & 50 dogs !!!!!

thanks all. am still stuck on no. 47. really stuck. have tried all sorts of combinations of mute and beat and still cant get it. really need help now.. last one help...........
