There you are - interrupted again!
I was going to say - not one of their best books. Mags.

I will try to do it for a bit longer. I don't mind mowing as that's just walking up and down, but tree-climbing is getting a bit much now, and using long-armed pruners makes my arms ache. Oh dear what a moaner ;0)

Thanks Magworth.
It's nice to have a pun appreciated instead of just groaned at. I didn't realise the ad was noisy, I usually have the sound turned off. I see from another thread ("HELP - not crossword related") that the website's income depends on us not blocking these adds. I don't mind the one at the side, but the one across the foot of the screen is a pain. (A Windows pain?)

Bees -you are incorrigible! Window pains indeed !
Yes, I`ve read that thread and understand the need for ads. The problem is that the ad is so very close to the `log in` and `next` words. I must just be very careful with the cursor. Mags.

He's had more than one - the one in question predates Borat

Sasha's first famous alter ego; then add n for name.

Found it a bit of a struggle with some of the clues. Got there in the end but can someone tell me where does the 'out east' fit into 11A?

Hi,Raymond, and Good Afternoon, All. Yes, I am still alive, although it has been a busy couple of weeks.

I was in SGH, all hooked up to an infusion pump when I got a call to say that the hot water supply at home had gone had gone haywire and the top had come off the tap, spraying water everywhere. Managed to guide Mrs P to the stop valve, and eventually got that sorted out yesterday.

Next, the fridge died, and it was decreed that the washing machine should be replaced at the same time. Washing machines are heavy for your average cripple to lug around, but we did get there in the end, only to find that the new machine is bigger than the one it replaces, so does not quite fit the cupboard in which it lives. Will have to sort that out later.

Meanwhile, crosswords (my life's blood) had to take a back seat. Perhaps due to my diverted attention, I did not find RT37 all that easy. I did not get it finished until Friday morning - a terrible admission to have to make. I have known it completed in less than an hour on a good day, but four days is a disgrace.

Anyway, time to stop moaning, and get back to my life of idleness.

Best wishes.

P
