Quizzical - am puzzled by your hint for 78. My second word starts with 's'(first one 'b'), giving an answer I am not 100% with. What is your line of thought for 'h'?

What do you think the 'h' stands for? What is the quiz all about?

Thanks Lady Bee - in that case my logic is different. I am working on the phrase 'Put their shirts on' with the answer being plural

To my way of thinking this is something you have (or used to) indoors for airing your clothes. I may be wrong but I don't think so.

was there any clues please for no.59 and no 54?

54. Think of a word to describe a congregation in church and add in a two letter word for a popular (film) alien. The resulting answer is part of a horse.

59. Big clues given earlier on this thread I believe.

I have been following this thread and there have been some great clues given which has helped me, but I am completely stuck on No 10. Some layabouts I deride. One has no chance. (8) I am probably being quite stupid as no one else appears to find this difficult - I think that it might be an anagram of some kind, but cannot work it out. Any hints gratefully received.

pleb - thanks!! How stupid can you get!! When lying in bed last night thought that that answer would fit the clue but did not study the quiz this morning to see how!!

Just registered with this site - didn't know such a forum existed! Can anyone help me with the only two I have left. 57. Amish transport that is hopelessly out of date (5,3,5). My only answer doesn't seem 'cryptic' enough! Also 76. Nearly take this central Mongolian beast (5) Initial letter would help. Thanks
