...and finally (drum roll)

There were 95 entries recieved for the Winter Quiz of which 26 were completely correct. Sadly, 49 people got just one or two wrong answers - mainly putting 'roquefort' as the answer to Q99, or simple errors of not checking the correct number of letters. There were lots of 'eggs' instead of 'egg' and 'Thermidor' with an 'e' on the end, and 'panna cotta' with only one 'n' etc, etc.

Anyway, I do hope my clueing hasn't put anyone off the idea of eating camembert or chickpeas!

The winner for the first correct entry received was Mamya, and the first correct entry drawn from the hat just now is Debbie from Solihull. Congratulations to all who got them all correct, and thanks again to everyone.

I checked and I did get all the right answers...but probably had dodgy spelling.

Many thanks for the hints for no 99. I don't think I would ever have got that one.

I was sure that my attempt at a speed entry would affect my accuracy,so I am pleasantly surprised and more than a bit excited. My prize has been earmarked to share on a very special occasion and will make more than myself very happy indeed.

I may even knit myself a small trophy LOL

It was the mixed nuts and gherkins that ruined my paper.
