I like the idea of names of musicians/singers/composers for the next quiz. I think alphabetical order would be better, as date of birth order wold make the distinction between classical and pop too obvious.

I am struggling with ideas for you too Richard, I average entering at least 0 quizzes per month, all I can say is I never want to see another 'Logo' one or rows of celebrities in Santa Hats. I do like the music themed ones though.
Thanks again for a great quiz, really enjoyed it.

Merry Christmas to you too Macmillan Quizzer. I completed the Winter Quiz last night. I think! No. 84 was my last one - Oh you are awful... looking forward to the next one. Back to the kitchen.
Cheers

Hello all,

Hope you all had a lovely festive time.

Re Mr Mcquizzy's call out for ideas...I so LOVE Mrs Trellis's idea...of who would you would not want your parents to meet!

Could I suggest...one step further...who would you be embarrassed for your children to meet!

Or...a bit simpler,

Beverages/Libations/Refreshments... non-alcoholic and very holic!

Just a thought,

Hello all,

Peace and quiet...at last. Visitors gone...and still plenty booze.

Re my previous suggestion for the next quiz, Mr Mcqizzy you could add in bits like a "Lashings of ginger ale" as well as just names of drinks.

Anyway back to the winter quiz, I actually managed to sit down and try to finish it off this afternoon...down to one.

And yes...it is the infamous no 99!

Previous clues have not helped me.

The only food related word I can get is a delicious French cheese, but I can't figure out the clue...so I think I am wrong.

Could someone have mercy and give me another clue...pretty please.

Hi Pastille
Think of a native of the capital of Italy and add the first 4 letters of a posh word for a call girl - knock of the extremes of reticent and if all else fails just Google Thompson and Morgans on line veggie seeds catalogue "R"
Cheers
