Good morning all. Richard, re your request for quiz themes, what about something a little more abstract or free-ranging, such as 'Things that make Britain Great' or 'Famous People you wouldn't introduce to your parents'.
Hope the Winter Quiz was a rip-roaring success, it certainly was in my house ;-)

Hi quizzer01; think of a word which loosely describes Signor Berlusconi (no, not THAT word - more geographical!)and take it from there. Good luck.

Thank you everyone - the Winter quiz - http://www.justgiving.com/theWinterQuiz - has now raised over £500 and the online donations now exceed those of the Autumn Quiz. Once I add on the money raised from hardcopy sales in local pubs and cafes we have a very good chance of reaching the £1000 target.

I like Trevor's idea of theming the next quiz on musicians/composers/singers etc and have already written a few clues. Should I put them in alphabetical or date of birth order, though...?

This was the first of your quizzes I've tried and the alphabetical order was a great help. Still very challenging though. Bought another one for my brother who struggled - he didn't read the sheet properly and hadn't realised the answers were alphabetical! I think these types of quizzes shouldn't be made too difficult. It's good to have fun doing them and supporting a great cause at the same time.

Hi Richard Well done with the progress on your target.
Like Trevor says, lots have done music (Billericay Lions last two, HammondHarwood, Newshoots Christmas carols, Bluebell pantos & songs, St Tudy songs & Musicals, Agape Foodbank songs, Whittlesey lights, Ghyllside school, Whittlesey Diamond Jubilee are all on the Sitesavers website today)so a change might be welcome

However as I have also set quizzes I know how difficult it is to get the Q & A together with a theme.

Hope this isn't too negative, and I'll still buy your next quiz anyway whatever the theme as it's the cause that counts with whatever charity
