“Truth is so obscure in these times, and falsehood so established, that, unless we love the truth, we cannot know it.”

I'm sure you'll be fine. All the best.

Sadly standards are falling and there are now numerous(I almost typed numerate!) gadgies in Edinburgh.
Myself excluded, as I never visit their main haunt,Tynecastle.

Hi TJ,
Yes, I suppose there were always a few gadgies around the Gorgie/Saughton area and I hear that the Leith Walk/Easter Road area is much improved since I left Edinburgh !

Pastille, if you can memorise the clues and grid before you go in to the court, you can pass the time by working out the crossword, just to keep your mind off the things terrible, which would only affect your sensitivities.

I am still ensconced in Jury Duty, liable to go on until Wednesday.

I am losing the will to live. 4 days of much lies, chicanery and duplicity. Sounding likes Alex Salmond here...

It's not like this on the telly!

Pastille - lovely to hear how you're getting on,even if you're not particularly enjoying the experience. I hope you managed to fit in crosswords, chat and general catching-up over the weekend.

Just out of curiosity?

Does anyone have any idea how harshly I be treated if I gave in to the urge to throw my clipboard (Frisbee style)at the Defence Solicitors head?

Don't want to get any Jail time, but a bit of Community Service would be worth it.
