Finished on Saturday, unusually (having a quiet day with assorted aches and pains and lurid black eye after a violent collision with a pavement on Weds, courtesy of an uneven paving slab whiile walking briskly downhill: luckily no bones broken but 7 hours in A&E to get checked over after head bump).

Finished before coming to forum, but didn't understand 7,8 until Jono's #24, nor 20/21. Very clever. Started mostly in SE, ended in SW.

FOI: 15
LOI: 24
COD: 11, 7/8, 10 etc ... lots of lovely wordplays

An entertaining, challenging enough, puzzle. (Having an off day: took 2.5 x the median for today's Redactle puzzle, pretty unusual as I'm usually much better!)

Liked 23 and 4d ,some parsing took a while to sort out but thank you Philistine for a fun challenge.

Sorry to hear that Pam. By amazing coincidence, I just got a Whatsapop pic from my big Sis of her in A&E wearing one of those boots one wears while waiting for a fracture to heal. Shee too fell on an uneven paving slab.

Hope you make a speedy recovery:-)
