Requests for help should normally include the clue itself, the number of letters in the answer, and details of any you already have. Any additional information or special instructions, common in Listener puzzles, should also be included.

The theme...
Help with the theme may also be sought and given here. The help given should be fairly gentle in nature. Aim for a nudge, a pointer in the right direction - and certainly not anything that would spoil the puzzle for others.

If anyone feels that too much has been revealed, please let the Site Administrator know - Norah.evoluted@aol.com. Norah generally errs on the side of caution, so anything iffy is likely to be removed.

Anyone who has been disappointed with too many easy puzzles recently will be pleased with this one.

That being said we have more or less completed the northeast and southwest corners.

Two downs and two acrosses here, but I’ve pretty well given up. At least we could have had the across clues in the normal order!

Have not had chance to look at this yet but delighted to see it is a Sabre. Hopefully I will finish it but not expecting to be moaning about it being too easy in an hour or two.
Looking forward to getting my teeth into this in the morning.

I've finished it - it gets quicker once you get far enough. There's one parsing I need to think about.

A really pleasant change to have a challenging puzzle set by Sabre. I have a full 'original' grid, albeit missing a couple of parsings. I can see the 2-word instruction. So onwards to the final grid...!
