Fihished, unusually early, while lunching in the sun at the pub.

But I can't parse 7d: I have a solution which fits 4 crossers and takes the first 2 words as definition, and can explain one letter, but can make no sense of the rest. Hints?

3 letters back (as in the expression ‘to and…’) then 1 letter top of littlun inside 3 letters purchase

I thought that must be it, but it's a terrible clue. "Back" loose, "purchase" loose, and "little'un" giving a letter is verging on ridiculous!

...and the surface doesn't make sense. "Jackets" is just about the only valid part.

24 is funny. I'd expect Paul to clue it in a more risqué manner, but I prefer the wordplay chosen.
