I knew you would Jono:-)

As always, I can't tell you how much I appreciate you taking the trouble to provide us with an interactive grid.

Thanks also to Robt aka Odo for a most enjoyable puzzle and for giving me a reason to visit YouTube and watch and listen to the aforementioned scene:-)

Came back to the endgame over a morning cuppa. Bravo, Odo/Rbt, beautifully done! And I have, thankfully, lost the earworm…. I think….

Thanks, Prospero, ilippu and castafiore. I now have the missing letters, the six modified words, and the six-letter phrase (although the final two words don't help me). However, I cannot find anything sensible for 4D and 19D. A I said, I assume the first word is a sort of wind (that would fit with the theme). But the second word is less obvious. I thought of a pair of spectacles, but now think it must be a synonym for the third word in the six-word phrase. Am I right?

pendragon - I too am not sure about 4/19d but am assuming that it refers to "us", since the theme's last word is "you". In that case, we would be 4/19d between the left and right groups. If anyone has anything better, I'd appreciate hearing, so I can finalise my thinking ...

I assume you mean a sort of glasses by "us." However, there is an archaic term for the third word in the six-word clue that might refer to the act.

Prospero, your reading certainly makes sense to me, the writer, if that counts for anything… ;-)

wow, that's certainly the first time I've had validation from a setter! Improves my 17 no end ... and good of him to bother.

Hi Pendragon,

I think the 4d/19d is split, with Odo being 4d (synonym of the first word of the final line of the chorus) with the 19d (final word of chorus' last line)

Please someone correct me if I'm wrong.
