Thanks, Jono. Great trick to get the pdf.

Very enjoyable crossword but stuck on LOI - 10A. And can’t parse middle 2 letters of 9A

Thought 12A was v good.

Thanks Everyman.

9a You need to read the solution as 1 2 1.

10a is an expression meaning “ish”. The first part is a rather loose cryptic definition.

Thanks, jono.
Some nice clues (e.g. 3, 12, 13, 16,17), but I also found it difficult. Took about the same time as last night's Prize.

Needed to clear cookies before it would allow me access (and then told me I was logged in. Go figure).

Found the several 4 letter clues around the edges quite easy, so that gave me an "in". Stuck on 14d irritatingly. I'm sure all the crossers are OK, but just can't think of a phrase which fits, or anagrams nicely. I've been jamming in unrelated words, but have yet to strike lucky. Someone want to put me out of my misery?

14d is an anagram of the first 3 words in the clue, definition "it's not a good look". The second word of the solution is suggested by "look", and then you can back out the less obvious first word.

Thanks for that. That was one of the word combinations I tried in my head, but it didn't really seem to mean anything more than "tread haste" or "theta dares" or any of the other anagrams!

Good to put it to rest. On with the weekend.

Really enjoyed this. Thanks for the pdf Jono.
LOI 14d. Great clue along with 12a, 24a and 7d.
