This is a difficult one, so I have a few more to get; any clues or hints would be appreciated.

19d Subject to chucking ball at hunks endlessly (5)
I have T?E?E.
I think it could be THEME, which can be the Subject of a talk, but I don't get the rest of the clue.

23d Pad out and measure regal bust (7).
I have only the first letter, E.

34a Row about Government leader's cat (5).
I have only the first letter T.

I think that will do for now, I will come back later if necessary.
Thanks in advance for any hints.

19d THEME
TO, dropping the O (ball) + HEMEN, chunks, minus the last letter.

23d. Def. is 'pad out'. 'Measure' (printer's), (2) + an anagram
34a. Def. is 'cat'. One-letter abbreviation in 'Row' (4)

34 the cat is very large! The "row" should be pronounced as in "...a boat", rather than argue.

My edition hasn't arrived yet and, knowing the Christmas post, probably won't arrive until afterwards. My solution has always been to do a bit of copying and pasting on to Word and at the same time increase the size of the rather parsimonious font. Thus I will have something to keep me amused after my Christmas dinner while the younger family members are squabbling over their presents and the older ones are snoring in front of a dull old rerun on the box whilst coping with the gastric after effects of too many Brussel sprouts. Voila
