Bob - Thank you for your words of encouragement

It’s Monday morning and I am staring at 7d. I have all the crossers -e-d-y and can think of a three letter Doris who would fit but even with a word search I can’t produce a plausible answer. But nobody else has mentioned it , so I must be missing something fairly obvious. Any hints?

Your crossers are correct. Definition is boom, as in a time of great plenty.
