11a - write out the numbers in the clue, then use the percentages of each.

Nobody has mentioned 15A. My answer fits the first half but I can't parse the weaponry bit.

Hi Helen, if you read your answer in reverse you should see the weapon, something the police use, though I wouldn’t like to be on the receiving end of one!

Hi Nunoesque, I too think they've been a bit harder recently, after an easy spell. It took me a long time to get beyond the SE corner on this, but in the end I found it funny and fair. Stick with it - nobody is judging you if you use a bit of online help now and then, and there's a good chance you'll get back into it.

Any pointers on 19a? I have all the checkers but can't seem to find a word that fits with the clue. Suspect it is staring me in the face though! Thank you!

Ok - the penny has dropped with the "looking back". I couldn't look beyond that word having something to do with horses!
