The Observer continue to make the pdf available on Saturday, so if you fancy an early start here it is…

…though I think I’ll wait until Sunday as per normal.

Thanks Jon - I too will wait till Sunday, but printing it off (keeps my old inkjet flowing) I noticed it has my favourite hotel!

Pretty difficult. In fact, I'd say it's on a par with yesterday's Guardian Prize.

Lots of fun, though, so thanks to Everyman.

Enjoyable.

LOI 2 - more from the crossers than the clue - ‘wanting volume'? Kicking myself for not spotting 1 sooner.
COD - 4d
THW😁 - 5

Got held up in the NW corner by having the wrong answer at 13 (don’t overthink it!)

Fairly straightforward I thought. A good weekend of solving for me when I only come here after finishing Prize and Everyman. Spoonerism is good this week and nice variation on the primarily (?) clue. Cheers!

Rather good I thought.
Couldn’t help noticing some ‘cheese’ crossover with today’s Gemelo, also very good.

Not as tricky as it first appeared. FOI: 4a LOI:19a COD contenders:11a or 4d ( the latter of which took a while).

Raffles, re 2d - it's an anagram. 'Wanting' as in 'lacking'

Lots to enjoy in this one, and plenty of fairly easy clues to get me started. Enjoyed the rhyming pair. Even the Spoonersism wasn't as bad as normal! Needed help with the anagram of 14d. Not a word that's much in use these days.

Thanks Everyman!

Nicoladawn - 19a was my LOI too. And I also think that 11a is my COD, though there are a few to choose from.
