Definition is a head. Think Latin. A fish missing its last letter (tailless) and a Middle Eastern bread, often used in doner kebabs

INTERROGATE - I was thinking Pump as definition. Men - OR on mounting becomes RO, passage is GATE. does inter mean bury to plant? Not convinced. Pl help me.

I think you have it, Bharat, and that’s exactly how I would parse it. To inter comes from terra, Latin for earth, so that’s how the word comes to mean bury. Plant is fine
