Please help me in parsing / solving this cryptic clue -
" He maybe one with expression of scepticism after suffering for the most part (6)"

The definition is He. Think if what it might stand for, and you should be able to parse it

Actually it’s He maybe, but the idea is the same

Well done, Bharat. By elimination that had to be the definition of the clue if it wasn’t an &lit (a clue which contains all the wordplay and which read as a whole is the definition. They are unusual. Examples are:
“I’m a Muslim leader” (4) and “Cop in male form” (9).
