Has anyone got to grips with this today? I am floundering again and - please - need a push. Help with 10d might be a place to start - Butters we snare through covert approaches (10) there will be an extra letter somewhere. I have ? W???TA ??S
Thank you Thom. My letters were right then. Can you help with 15a: protein from trees captured by honoured artist? (7). I have E ? U???T. Same rules as before.
Jogamel, your T is wrong. The honoured artist is a very famous (notorious) female, the trees (which lose a letter) feature in crosswords now and again. They're inside the artist...
A nice puzzle, and so lovely to have a puzzle about a sitcom which is not "Dad's Army." I cannot, however, parse 7a, assuming the def is the last 3 words.
Well done buddy. I think I’ve really made too many errors today. Just one more appeal and I’ll take a break: 14d: bender perhaps could result with one being articulate? (8); I have L? U? ET? A
Tough clue relying on GK that I would bet no one possesses. Bender is a person's last name. Composite anagram, 1 + answer gives ARTICULATE with of course an extra letter in there.
