I thought 20d was nicely disguised. I spent a minute of two staring at it.

Having slept on it, I continue to think that 14, 19 is pretty weak.

14,19 - Am I correct in assuming that it's a DD with the second being the C????? of the ink used in the printing of the clue?

... and their low value, of course.

That’s my reading of it, and I’m relieved that you haven’t found something I’m missing (perhaps someone will tell us we’re both missing something, but at the moment I doubt it)!
As a matter of interest, do you think it’s a better clue than I do?

No I do not Rog and that's why I wanted clarification! I went from, 'that can't be it' to 'you've got to be kidding me' in pretty short order but, like you say, maybe we're missing something and someone will come up with a better parse.

... to be fair though, it does at least deserve points for originality and making us think (I hate this cliche) outside the box - dare I say 'cryptically':-)

2 and 4 would perhaps have been better choices (think roulette)…

Yes, that thought occurred to me too at approximately 0015!
And Bren, yes that’s about as generous as I’m prepared to be about this particular clue. A hint of misdirection, I suppose, but one which held me up for about a second.
