I’ve counted a total of 8 6d’s of the 10a type (some are parts of solutions rather then the whole thing).

I really enjoyed the puzzle, but there was just one negative thing...
One of the first clues I solved was the thematic 11, and I consider the solution so execrable/repulsive that I briefly considered abandoning. 🤣

I did raise an eyebrow at 11 being described as a 6!

Really enjoyed this one, and being a birdwatcher certainly helped. FOI 1d LOI 25a
COD 27a also liked 13d & 5d which took me ages

I do have a quibble about "Spice Girl" in 27 - weren't there two? "One of the Spice Girls" would be more accurate!

Hope it's not a spoiler but is 23d an acrostic?
If it is, it's my COD and I haven't finished yet!
