Ish, it’s corner as in monopolise or keep something for yourself. This goes inside a runner with cheers at the beginning.

Not the most obvious perhaps but a close second and this is a cryptic crossword!
Meanwhile I’m struggling to parse 22, with two possible solutions that both fit the definition and the crossers but I don’t see the 6d connection with either.
