Think the half is justified in 20a as without it we don't necessarily have the answer

I’m obviously being slow (half-speed at best) this morning as nothing unfortunate about 5d jumps out at me. Am I missing some unintended innuendo (not usually like me)?

Sorry rogissimo, see mine @32. As I said, the clue for 5d in itself is rather good....

Being pedantic - going from 100mph to 99mph fits last two words (ignoring hyphen) but not the answer - I use mph as do not want to spoil

I think I might have it. Something that did slightly trouble me at the time. Something lacking, perhaps?
