I have 6 blank cells in my final grid. Does that compute ?

Son1ofrover1, I follow Norah (Admin's) example, I err on the side of caution!

I have completed the endgame but I have one loose end. I can't parse 3d to give me the letter I need (possibly like Iratus @#4). The wordplay seems precise to give the first three letters but I need one of them to be the 5th letter of the unjumbled word. Can anyone help me tidy this up?

Ozzy - I think you have the parsing backwards - the first 2 words in 3D are the definition; the last 2 words are the wordplay.

Malone - IMO the post doesn't do much harm - the rubric refers to blank cells - no need to confirm or deny how many.

Thanks, JBird54, that's fine, helpful. I knew the preamble mentioned blanks, but didn't know if the number mentioned was significant. I haven't done the puzzle.

Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in.

Or to put it another way, I have now solved 19D and have some thoughts on how to progress.
