In serious trouble with the NE quadrant - and have some dodgy answers, not confirmed by (my) Chambers in the SW corner, and not a scooby what the 2nd/3rd< words of the misprints/extra letters spell. Other wise nearly complete!

No arguments from me.

I'm nibbling away as usual, and have run into a problem. My answers for 36a and 25d only have one letter in common. However, that letter also has to go at the intersection of 36a and 37d. If this makes sense to anyone, and they know the way out of the conundrum, I'd be happy to hear!

Dylan, my answer to 37D does not contain the letter that the other two have in common, so maybe have another look at 37?

Dylan, I suspect that you may need to re-examine 37d as its 1st letter is not the same as that at the intersection of 25d & 36a.

All done apart from not being certain of 20ac. An oblique 'nudge' would be appreciated to see if I'm on the right track. Like others I don't quite understand the significance of all the triples.

Planks - first word is the definition. This was the last one for me as for ages I thought the definition was the other end
