Hi all, bit of a newbie at this and struggling on 8D 'Society in old Elizabeth I's rule' (6) and 11A 'Patch article on male "transitional" (9). Looking for some clues to these rather than the complete answer please. Thanks!
8 The usual Old abbreviation, the usual four letter Elizabeth I, with the usual Society in between the two. It's 'rule' more in the ' occupy your thoughts' than rule, reign.
11 Patchy is the definition, so just as well you corrected it!
The 'article' could be in a newspaper or magazine, then 'transitional' indicates an anagram...
