The clues...
Requests for help should normally include the clue itself, the number of letters in the answer and details of any you already have. Any special instructions or additional information, common in Listener puzzles, should be included.
HINTS only, please, no answers.

The theme...
Help with the theme may also be sought and given here. It is intended that the help is fairly gentle in nature, just a nudge or a pointer in the right direction. It certainly shouldn't be anything that would spoil the puzzle for others. Any posts which, even inadvertently, reveal too much are likely to be removed.

The Listener is a unique puzzle and should be treated with respect.

One for the A Listers at first glance! Luckily for me, I have a backlog of puzzles from last week.

Good luck all.

14 clues solved and the gimmick worked out in 3 hours ... but nothing in the grid yet. Slog on.

Only seven solutions so far, but in anticipation, does “positioned symmetrically” imply 180 degree symmetry, or could it be reflective symmetry?

I'm glad I'm not the only one asking 'Is it worth it?'. My reward threshold is pretty low, Im very busy, I'm a bit bored with maths themes and I'm not the best cold solver. I looked at the grid and thought, ooh, swastika style rotational grid fill? That could be fun. But I just can't summon the enthusiasm to persevere and see if I am on the right track.

drxx is being too harsh - it's not really a maths puzzle at all. The subject is a mathematical one, sure, but the only skill (apart from drawing) you need is the ability to read a wiki page and use the conclusion, ignoring why it is so. It's worth the slog.

I’ve spent hours on this already and have only got a handful of answers. Are grid entries proper words, please?
