Tricksy stuff from Tramp, lots of nitty-gritty fodder, but a typically satisfying solve.
FOI 13, LOI 18 (not a word that I’ll ever be able to remember.
COD possibly 27, just because every word counts and it’s a nice surface.

Similar experience here.

Got off to a great start with some very generous anagrams but pretty much ground to a halt at the bottom.

Can't see a definition in 27a.

Never heard of 19d (nor has any dictionary or online word solver that I could find!)

Can't parse 22d in spite of the answer being clear.

Thanks to Tramp.
Found this on the gentle side, some parsings were difficult but the solutions not so hard to guess.

FOI 1d.
LOI 18, which I'd guessed early on but had trouble parsing and needed Google to confirm the answer.

COD 8, being a geek. Also liked 7, 10 and 19...happened to have the GK for 19.

Brendan, 22d parses as 3 (an acronym) inside 2. The definition in 27 is the final word of the clue.

27a - I'm not convinced "time" on its own means the answer and can't find any justification for it in Chambers.

I agree, geeker: quite a few clues involved me seeing the definition, sometimes with the help of the crossers, and then teasing out the parsing. 27 was a case in point.

Brendan, my NSOED (don't have Chambers) has "period" (time) as defn. 2 for 27.

Hi Bren, took a while to find, but for 27 the definition is covered in Chambers under def. 9.

I could only confirm 19d using WordWeb.
