Thanks to Tramp, a relatively infrequent Prize setter, for this week's feature.
Perhaps it's just fatigue after a long week, but I found this an extremely testing challenge, one of the tougher Prizes in recent memory. Enjoyed it, but now I have a headache and can't comment as much as usual. 😫

FOI 3, LOI the crossing combination of 10 and 2. Still not sure of the parsing of 10.
Had to focus so intently that I couldn't keep my usual list of preferred clues, but COD definitely 13. Many clues required heavy thought before the penny dropped, sign of a good (but hard) crossword.
Don't see a clear theme, but there's a bit of alliteration. Some less than obvious anagrams that required multiple crossers to proceed.

Curious about other posters' opinions. I also found last week's Prize difficult, but many thought it easy. 😂

Thanks, that was my solution, the "form" part of wordplay confused me.

Great fun and one of the better prizes of recent weeks I thought. My COD probably 11a but there are plenty more candidates.

Having problems with this one, if it helps anybody, 14 Across contained the abbreviated name of a well-known football manager. Whilst the answer to 4D is an archaic word according to the OED

Could I have hints for 5a and 8d, please?

Also a couple of parsing problems. Where do letters 4-6 in14a come from? I'm not confident that I have 16a right, but if I have, where does the R go?

Oh dear. I had not a single clue before coming here so not holding out much hope for success today.

I’m guessing 9,1 is an anagram? But can’t resolve it.
Any useful tips to get me going much appreciated. 😊
