Enjoying this one but after a few days of stagnation I cant get 21, 24, 25, 27 and 29 to finish it ? Any hints ? Sorry its late in the day but I always aim to complete by Saturday when the next one comes out ! Many thanks, Tony

21 definition is "fan" and is a 5 letter word for a ventilator (say, a cupboard) containing a 2 letter "damp" occasionally (as in every other letter).

24 definition is "returns" and is 2 letter "home" + 4 letter "move nearer"

25 double definition

27: 2 characters at end of "script" with a conjunction inbetween

29 definition "taking out", 3 letter "date" (as in period of time) + 4 letter "confident"

Thank you ! All done now….couldn’t get “inches” out of my mind for 24 and thought the “damp” was going to be the “a” and “p” !!!! Good crossword that one :-)
